Manifest:
1. Movies bring Meaning to Our Lives (even if Channing Tatum is in it)
2. Sitting in a big dark room with trailers about to begin is a great moment
3. Yes, there are bad movies out there, that's why rely on our friends to tell us (except no, Manders, I refuse to see Stupid, Crazy Love)
4. Everything with Philip Seymour Hoffman, Cate Blanchett, Christopher Nolan, Christoph Waltz is an immediate Yes (Manders do you have any to add? I'd do Tilda Swinton but I think that only goes for me)
5. Laughing is Good
6. Rarely go to AM movies but July 20th when Batman comes out may be in the running for a morning movie (I did see Star Trek at 11am during finals of my senior year of college which was very worth it)
7. Be accepting of others who feel Wes Anderson  makes the same movie over and over again because he does and he doesn't
8. Even if we feel like our lives are pointless and we are unsuccessful as human beings there will always be: Woody Allen, Toy Story, Reality Bites My Sherona Dance, Radiohead documentaries, Mad Men's Peggy Olson, Air Force One, Independence Day, Bill Pullman, Dennis Hooper's PRB Rant in Blue Velvet, Apocalypse Now (THE HORROR), Fred Astaire dancing in Singing in the Rain, The River Wild, Footloose (the original), The Fifth Element, J.J. Abrams, Air Force One, and "YOU SHALL NOT PASS"

  1. THIS LIST IS NOT COMLETE> Only what was brainstormed this moment Saturday afternoon. And yes, Air Force One being in there twice is intentional.

  2. I'm going to have to think about adding some more to this list. But firstly, you HAVE to see Crazy, Stupid, Love! Despite the silly title, it's actually fantastic. This upsets me. Secondly, "We will not go silently into the night! We will fight! Because today! Is our Independence Day!
