And my favorite movie of the year (which is nowhere to be found in any category, despite early high praise from critics and moviegoers) was Like Crazy. Incredibly acting, writing (although it was mostly improv), directing, editing, etc. Just a refreshingly original movie. It also had one of the best trailers of the year.
Oliver won't allow me to see Like Crazy. He says it's a little too close to home and I get too emotionally involved in movies. Also, I love this blog, if only because you're my only source of proper entertainment news. =)
